Avon discount tips

The Avon Story

Avon was started by David H. McConnell in the late 1870s. He sold books in New York, going door-to-door in an effort to sell as many as possible. By 1886 he had decided to change from books to perfumes, believing there was more of a market for this. At first, they sold other company's perfumes. But, by the end of the 19th century, they were creating their own. It wasn’t until 1939 that the name was changed to Avon from the California Perfume Company. They have continued focusing on direct selling to this day. Despite hitting some rocky patches during 2010-2015 they are still trading strongly today.

The Avon Catalog

You’ve probably experienced an Avon representative knocking at your door. Traditionally almost anyone can be an Avon representative. The UK is divided into areas and each area has an Avon supervisor that ensures the Avon representatives don’t overlap. Once you have your own area you can go door to door to drop off the Avon catalog, then collect it again a few days later; hopefully with an order. A hard copy of the Avon catalog is printed and available every year. It lists the entire range of products and can be ordered online or by telephone. The catalog reflects all the items sold through their website. Each catalog is approximately 300 pages long and full of an array of products, including make-up, skincare, perfume, items for the home, and even fashion. You’re certain to find something that will interest you. If you order through your local representative they get a small commission on the sale although the price to you remains the same. They’ll ensure you get your product quickly and help you deal with any issues.

The Avon Customer Service Experience

Avon doesn’t have stores, you can either buy items from your local representative or order them online. But, it does believe in giving you the very best experience possible. Your Avon representative is trained to understand the products they’re selling. That means they can help advise you regarding which products will work best for you. They’ll also be able to contact the company if they are unable to answer any question you have. That means you’ll get the personal service of going in-store without having to leave your home. Even better, most Avon representatives have an array of test products that you can look at to help you decide if it’s right for you.

Avon Online

The website is busy because there are many different products to look at. The home page instantly gives you the option to search for a product. It also introduces the items that are currently trending and the best selling ranges. You’ll find a link to the latest offers and quick links to the various ranges offered by Avon. It’s also possible to review the online brochure. That’s where the real beauty of the internet steps in, you can scan the brochure online and add any item you want to your basket while continuing to shop. Of course, you can do this at any time of the day or night, as you can with the paper-based brochure. But, it is easier to add items to your basket and keep shopping online. Once you’ve chosen your preferred items you’ll need to check the available delivery options. You can choose standard delivery which will get your items to you within 5 working days. Or, you can ay a little more for express, next-day delivery. It’s worth noting that orders over £20 qualify for free direct courier service. The website also allows you to connect with your local Avon rep or to speak to a customer service member via the site. There is a telephone number online or you can fill in a form to get a speedy response. Of course, it’s also worth looking at the FAQs.

Discounts

On occasion, the Avon representative can authorise a small discount. You may also find some great promotional offers in the Avon sale. But, to make the most of your money you need to take a look at the site you’re currently on; www.1offers.co.uk. We offer a range of discount codes that will save you money on your next order. Every code is checked daily to ensure its valid. All you have to do is take the code on the day you want to use it. Add it to the designated box onscreen before completing the checkout process. Or, you can give it to your Avon rep before paying them.

Connecting With Avon

Avon is on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. You can connect with them to find out the latest news and developments. You can also access tutorials on YouTube. This is also a great way to stay in touch with other customers and exchange stories. You never know what you may learn or what friends you’ll make.
