Bathstore discount tips

The Bathstore Story

Patrick Riley and Nico de Beer created Bathstore at the beginning of the 1990s. Their aim was to create high-quality bathrooms for reasonable prices, that could be purchased by anyone. In effect, they were targeting the homeowner instead of traders.

Business Success

The business proved to be a success. The early 2000s saw rapid expansion. It changed hands in 2012 and then again in 2014, the result of a management buyout. Unfortunately, the business hit financial difficulties and entered into administration in 2019. Subsequently, Homebase has purchased the name Bathstore. Today, the company is seeing new investment and a bright future.

The Bathstore Product Range

Unsurprisingly, Bathstore specializes in bathroom products. Their range includes baths, showers, toilets, sinks, taps, and all accessories to complete your bathroom perfectly. That includes heating, mirrors, and even lighting.

Bathstore Brochure

You can find the entire stock list online. However, Bathstore still produces the more traditional brochure. You can download this from their website or even request a paper-based copy. This allows you to look through the product range at your leisure and select the perfect products for the space you have available. The brochure is approximately 100 pages long and is produced once a year. You’ll also find several promotional brochures are produced throughout the year. These can be found in your local store or concession or you may even get them through your letterbox.

Heading In-Store

There are approximately 40 Bathstore’s remaining in the UK. However, Homebase is increasing this number by placing Bathstore inside existing Homebase stores. This expands the reach of the Bathstore name and ensures you’ll be able to access their products close to your home. The store experience is excellent, you’ll feel like a VIP as the dedicated and professional staff talk you through the entire process. They’ll help you design your bathroom and add all the necessary accessories. With the aid of a graphics program, you’ll feel like you’re in your new bathroom before you’ve ordered anything!

The Concession Link

It should be noted that the concessions hold a limited stock range, you won’t be able to see or touch many of the products. But the graphic imagery more than makes up for this.

Bathstore Online

The website is simple and easy to navigate. At the very top, you’ll find the search box which can take you directly to what you’re looking for. Alternatively, click the three horizontal bars in the top right of the screen and you’ll see the extensive product categories. Click through them and the subcategories to see all the relevant products. It’s surprising how this can open your eyes to different possibilities. There is a useful virtual design tool online or the opportunity to have a free consultation. It’s worth using this.

Free Delivery Option

It’s worth noting that all orders over £500 are delivered free. If you spend less than this you can arrange to collect your order in your local store. However, many of the products are large and you’ll want them delivered to your home. There is a set fee of £25 for this and delivery is within 21 days. Bathstore offers up to five-years of free credit through a variety of finance offers. This is useful if you’re planning on completely revamping your bathroom.
