Fenwick discount tips

A Little Fenwick History

John James Fenwick opened a store in Newcastle in 1882. It sold mantles, silk goods, dresses, fabrics, and trimmings. Business was good and in 1890 John’s son, Fred joined the business. This is when it extended its stock range and became a department store. Fred trained in Paris and is believed to have been inspired by Le Bon Marché. Since then the company has slowly but steadily expanded, it has also remained a family business. Even today, it’s owned by the family and has a famous and nostalgic Christmas display in its original Newcastle store every year.

The Fenwick Range

Fenwick is now the place to go for virtually any item you can think of. They have always stocked high-quality products and have avoided producing catalogs, unlike many of their competitors. Fenwick offers an extensive array of women’s clothing, men’s clothing, and even a kid’s range. They also offer an impressive selection of food, including some fantastic hampers. But, it’s the home and gifts section that really has everything in it. Whether you’re after toys, fitness equipment, garden furniture, lighting, homeware, and even artwork.
