Subway discount tips

Subway History

In 1965 Fred DeLuca and Peter Buck joined forces to create “Pete’s Super Submarines”. The location was Connecticut and the idea was to produce high-quality and tasty submarine sandwiches along with salads and drinks. The idea was good and within two years the name had been changed to Subway and the first franchise was created. Although the second store, the first of the franchise outlets, was also opened in Connecticut, today there are Subways across the globe. In fact, it remains one of the fastest-growing franchises in the world! Today it is present in over 100 countries and has more than 40,000 stores!

The Subway Range

Subway started out selling submarine sandwiches. Today, they continue that tradition but have an impressive array of menu options worth looking at. If you’ve ever been to a Subway store you’ll know what I’m talking about. There are many different flavours available to choose from, meat options, vegetarian options, and even gluten-free choices. Subway does its best to cater to everyone. Today, they don’t just have an array of options to cater to all taste buds, they also offer wraps, fascinating salads, and an array of sides, including hash browns. There are breakfast-themed menus, a stunning array of desserts and snacks, including cookies and nachos, and enough drinks choices to make a coffee shop jealous.

Going In-Store With Subway

The in-store Subway experience is interactive, unique, and fun. There are few better ways to choose the sandwich you want and really get something that satisfies you. It starts with choosing the type of bread you want and what size of submarine you feel like consuming. You can then choose the ingredients you want to add or you can select from the menu and add extras. All the salad and garnish items are included in the price. Subway has a range of hot and cold submarines to choose from. You’ll also need to select your favourite drink and you can even consider a dessert from the impressive menu. The beauty of Subway is that every submarine is made to order. You can see them putting the sandwich together in front of your eyes. You can then choose to enjoy it in-store or take it out to the street, your car, or even your office.

The Subway Website Experience

You may think that a website is unnecessary for a store that sells sandwiches. After all, you’re not going to order a sandwich online and wait for it to be delivered, are you? In fact, Subway does offer this service. They have partnered with Deliveroo, Just eats, and Uber Eats to ensure you can place your order online and have it delivered to any nearby location! If you prefer, you can download their app and access it on your phone. You can then order for delivery or collection from your phone! A nice touch is the list of nutritional ingredients you’ll find online. It breaks down the content of all the items on their menu, allowing you to log what you’re eating. That’s useful if you’re counting calories, carbs, or simply interested. You should note delivery incurs a small charge.

Customer Care At Subway

If you have any queries or concerns your first port of call should be your local store. Don’t forget these are all franchises and operated by individuals. You should be able to contact them in person or by telephone and discuss the issue. Because they are all independent you’ll find a prompt and helpful response, they are well aware of the reputation they need to protect.

Discounts & Promotions

You’ll often find a Subway promotional vouchers book in other stores or even through your letterbox. They generally offer a reduced price special sub or a discount if you buy several items together. It’s a good way of getting more for your money. However, if you don’t have a voucher book to hand then take a look at the offers on www.1offers.co.uk. You’re already on the site, spare a few moments and you’re sure to find a Subway discount code that will save you money and allow you to indulge. Take the code and use it in-store or when ordering online. It’s worth noting that codes can change quickly. We check them every day to ensure they are valid and recommend you take the code when you’re ready to use it.

Keeping In Touch

If you visit the Subway website you’ll find an option to join the newsletter. All it takes is an email address. You’ll then get the latest news and offers directly to your inbox. Of course, this will be the company-wide information. The best way to keep up with your local store is to join them on their preferred social media platform. You’ll find this is the easiest way to stay in touch with their developments, current offers, and exchange stories with other Subway customers. You’ll be part of a community.
