Clintons discount tips

The Clintons Story

The Clintons cards story started in 1968 when Don Lewin decided to open a small shop in Essex, specializing in selling greeting cards. The idea was a success and one store quickly became more, by 1988 there were nearly 100 shops across the UK. Despite the increase in digital technology and the beginning of e-cards, Clintons continued to flourish, even buying the rival card shops ‘Birthdays’ in 2004. Unfortunately, Clintons hit financial problems in 2012 when its main supplier bought the debt from the bank and demanded immediate repayment. The supplier then bought Clintons, ensuring it continues to be a high street name.

Clintons Stock

Unsurprisingly, Clintons specialize in selling cards. Although e-cards are gaining in popularity, there is still a place for the more traditional greeting card. Their stock range has something for every occasion, from birthdays to anniversaries, they also offer new baby cards and retirement cards. If you can think of a type of card, Clintons are selling it. Of course, they also have an array of accessories to go with your cards. This includes wrapping paper, cuddly toys, photo frames, stationery, and even all the paraphernalia that goes with organizing a party.
