Dwell discount tips

How Dwell Began

Dwell is a relatively young company, it started trading in 2003. The business was started by Aamir Ahmad, Sean Galligan, and Dave Garrett with just one store in Balham. Its focus was on selling modern furniture at reasonable prices. The idea was a success and the business quickly expanded across London. This was followed by a large investment in 2010 from Key Capital Partners which enabled the business to announce expansion plans. The aim was to have 60 stores and 20 concessions within 5 years. By the end of 2010, the business was running 24 stores. Their success was enough to get bigger companies worried, DFS bought the Dwell business in 2014 although it continues to trade under the Dwell name.

What Dwell Offers

Furniture! Dwell offer modern and stylish furniture at attractive prices. If you’re looking for something for your home then it’s worth looking at the Dwell range. They have sofas, dining tables, coffee tables, bookcases, beds, wardrobes, and even mattresses. In fact, you can even pick up lighting, mirrors, and some beautiful pieces of art from the Dwell range. The full Dwell stock range is displayed on their website, you’ll want to give yourself plenty of time to browse.

In-Store With Dwell

Despite being owned by DFS, Dwell has continued to expand. They now have over 70 stores across the UK. This means you should be able to locate one near you. If you’re not sure where your closest store is then use the store finder on their website. The great thing about visiting a Dwell store is that all their best products are arranged for you to see, touch, and even try out. While the internet is a convenient way to shop, it’s not as good as seeing the furniture, feeling the quality of the texture, or the plushness of the cushions under you. In short, it’s worth heading in-store. Of course, the fact that there is friendly staff on hand to help answer your queries or assist in placing your order does make the experience even more enjoyable.

Online With Dwell

The Dwell website is well laid out and easy to navigate. You’ll instantly be met with the latest product ranges and ideas for specific rooms. Above this, you’ll find the search box, useful if you know what you’re looking for. Scroll down the page and you’ll experience any sales details, links to the different categories, (which are also displayed across the top of the page), and a useful guide to buying with Dwell. You can browse or head straight to specific categories. But, whichever you do, you’ll be glad that you have plenty of time to do it!

Customer Services

The Dwell team is ready to assist you in any way you need it. All you have to do is click the customer service ink and you’ll be able to take a look at the FAQs. The alternative is to phone them or send them a letter. But, the fastest and easiest option is the live chat facility on the website.
