Blue Tomato discount tips

The Story Of Blue Tomato

Blue Tomato opened its first store in 1991 but the story begins before this. Its founder, Gerfried Schuller was crowned European snowboarding champion in 1988. At the time he returned to Schladming and started the Blue tomato snowboard school. He went on to win another 6 Austrian championships and his business rapidly grew. By 1991 he had opened ‘Gerry’s Garage’. It was a small outlet that sold every piece of snowboarding apparel and equipment that you could need. The store grew popular quickly just as snowboarding was also becoming popular. By 1994 it had evolved and the first Blue Tomato store opened. From that moment on the company has continued to grow and is now considered a world leader.
