Juicy Couture came into being in 1997. Two friends, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor came up with the idea to sell maternity pants. The company was previously established as Travis Jeans but the name was changed in 1996 and Juicy Couture was officially launched in 1997.
