Sole Trader discount tips

The Soletrader Story

Soletrader started out in the 1940s under the name Boro and Redmond Ltd. It specialized in importing shoes from Spain and selling them in the UK to retailers. They were actually linked with the first order for the famous Dr. Martens Airwair boots. In fact, it was these boots that drove the firm to set up their own retail outlet, known as Soletrader. The first official Soletrader store opened in 1962 and quickly became popular, leading to the stores appearing across the UK. The company has continued to do well although, like so many businesses, the COVID- pandemic forced them to shut several stores in 2020.

The Soletrader Range

Soletrader continues to specialize in shoes. You’ll see the entire range on their website and in-store. They offer a collection of women’s, men’s, and children’s shoes. This includes boots, sneakers, slippers, sandals, and work shoes. They also offer a selection of bags, baseball caps, belts, wallets, and sunglasses. Soletrader offers some of the most popular brands in the world, including Calvin Klein, Boss, Fred Perry, Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ted Baker. You are certain to find something that appeals to you!

Shopping In-Store

There are approximately 30 Soletrader stores across the UK. That means there should be one near you, although it is worth noting that there are currently no Soletrader stores in the southwest of the country. Each store is fully stocked with the Soletrader range and has friendly staff on hand to help you with style, durability, and the right fit. Of course, the best part about heading in-store is that you get to take the shoes home with you the same day.

Soletrader Online

The Soletrader website is well designed. You are met with a search option which helps if you know exactly what you are looking for. As you scroll down the page you’ll get images of the latest products and current trends. Alongside the logos for various designers, there are links to the different categories. Give yourself plenty of time to scroll through the options to ensure you find the right pair of shoes and accessories for your needs. It is worth taking a look at the size guide toward the bottom of the page.

Delivery Options

When you are ordering online one of the most important considerations is how fast your order will get to you. The good news is there are several options with Soletrader. If you spend over £50 you can get the standard service for free. This gets your order to you within 3 working days. Alternatively, the express service will get your order to you the very next day, but there is a charge for this. You can also click and collect at your local store. This service is free and is also next day.

Customer Service Experience At Soletrader

Check out the help link and you will find a list of FAQs that answers all the most common questions. But, if you can’t find the answer you are looking for then you can click the ‘contact us’ link and use the live chat option to communicate with the friendly and knowledgeable customer service team. This is the best method but, if you prefer, you can email the team, write to them, or complete the online form.

Discounts & Promotions

Soletrader does offer promotions from time to time. These are generally on products that are being replaced or not selling well. It does provide the opportunity to grab a bargain. However, you will find that better deals are available if you use a discount code. Fortunately, you are in the right place. Here at www.1offers.co.uk, we have an array of discount codes available. All you have to do is take a look, choose the code that benefits you the most, and use it during the payment process. All codes are checked daily to ensure they remain valid. This is essential as codes can change or expire at short notice. It is also the reason we recommend you take the code the day you intend to use it.

Soletrader Social Media Presence

Soletrader does have a traditional newsletter that is worth signing up for. All it takes is your email address and you will be sent all the latest news and offers. However, they are also active on social media and it is worth joining them online. You can choose between Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. As well as getting all the latest news you will join the online community. This gives you the opportunity to share reviews and experiences, helping to guide you to make the right purchase.
