Costa Coffee discount tips

How Costa Coffee Began

Costa Coffee actually started in 1971. Two people, Sergio and Bruno Costa moved to London and decided to bring the authentic coffee taste to the city and, hopefully, make it part of everyday life. They established a roaster in Fenchurch Street and crafted the finest possible coffee; it took 112 variations before they found the signature blend. Ten years later they opened their first shop and were the first to provide coffee in porcelain cups, ensuring the taste was perfect. With such great coffee, expansion and UK domination was inevitable. The business went from strength to strength. Although the Costa brothers sold the business in 1995 to the Whitbread Group it continues the original traditions. In fact, it is known as the best coffee retailer in the UK.

The Costa Range

Drinking coffee has become an art. Today the desire to stop and get a coffee is part of the shopping experience. That’s why you’ll find an impressive array of coffees in every Costa store. You can opt for a black coffee, one with milk, a wide variety of flavour lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolates, smoothies, and even tea. Everyone is catered for. Of course, you’ll want a delicious panini or slice of cake to go with your coffee. Costa offers a wide range of sandwiches and snacks that will leave you refreshed and ready to keep shopping. You should note that there is a Latte+ range that adds vitamin B12 & zinc and an array of dairy-free products for you to try.

Costa Cafes

There are approximately 3,500 Costa cafes across the globe. The good news is that nearly 2,500 of them are in the UK. You won’t have to go far to find one. In fact, many towns have more than one. Each cafe has highly trained staff, they are taught how to make the perfect coffee and look after your needs. The tables are usually clean and the cafe tidy. All you have to do is tell them what you want and pick your table. Of course, if you prefer, you can simply order your coffee and anything else that appeals and take it away with you.

Costa Coffee Online

Costa still has a well-designed and informative website. The home page keeps you up to date with the latest changes in the business, new flavours, and other relevant news. You’ll find the various categories listed across the top of the screen, or via the three horizontal bars in the top left f the screen. This gives you the opportunity to study the different coffees they offer and their entire menu. It can be useful if you are looking to choose before you head in-store. What may surprise you is that the Costa Coffee website also gives you the option to order online. They have joined forces with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. You simply download the delivery app, choose Costa, and place your order. It will then get delivered to your door!

Promotions & Discounts

Costa Coffee generally has promotional offers on relative to the season. For example, at Christmas, they’ll have a special spiced latte with a mince pie or something similar for an attractive price. They also offer reductions on any food close to its use-by date. They do have a Costa card which earns you points every time you spend with them. When you have enough points you can use them to get a free coffee or even a coffee and a cake!

Costa Coffee Discount Codes

However, the best way to get a discount at any time of the year is to use a discount code. You’ll find plenty of discount codes on www.1offers.co.uk for Costa Coffee and other retailers. You’re already on the site, spare a few moments to take a look at the codes available and how much you can save. You should note that discount codes can expire or change very quickly. While we check every code daily to ensure they are still valid, it is recommended that you take the code on the day you intend to use it.
